It's a been a while since I posted on here, but today is a great day to update because tomorrow marks one year until the wedding! We went to David's Bridal today and got swatches of the colors we want for the big day. The colors we've decided to go with are..
Black, Jade, and Mercury
I know you're thinking, Mercury - what's that? It's a new color to DB.. a dark gray. Real classy :) The dress that I picked for the bridesmaids you can view here
We're also thinking for the groomsmen this
We haven't decided exactly how we want to arrange the colors as far as dresses, vests and ties, but we still have time :)
Along with that, I had a big personal accomplishment myself today. As some of you know, I started the Couch to 5k Program. Well, today about half way through my walk/run my headphones ripped out of my itouch when they caught on the treadmill causing the music to play really weird. I got upset and just decided to leave, but when I got in the car and sat for a minute I decided if I quit today, I'll quit for the rest of the week (happened before) plus I was already half way through... so I brought my self back inside and finished my workout strong! I'm excited to finish the third workout on Friday and after that 8 weeks to go til' my first 5k!
Back to wedding stuff, so far we've booked the photographer, venue, limo and DJ. We've made arrangements for invitations, flowers and desserts and today we went to Shaw's to look at a ring for Cameron. I'm really excited to get through the next 366 days (leap year) and marry the love of my life!
